flagVeterans and those on active duty are eligible for assortment of freebies and deals in South Florida for Veterans Day.

Almost all the deals from local and national businesses are offered November 11, although some stretch for a few days, or are on a different day.

Some deals may be either specifically for veterans or for active duty personnel, and participation at individual establishments may vary. It’s a good idea to phone first, or read the requirements, to be sure about a particular offer.  Most restaurants and other merchants  require appropriate military ID.

More Veterans Day deals are featured on Living On The Cheap.
