The San Marco Art Festival is April 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown San Marco. Admission is free, and allows you to shop dozens of booths featuring fine artists and craftspeople.  Local restaurants and shops will be offering deals and there’s always the chance to snag a great one-of-a-kind objet for cheap.

The Orange Park Art Festival will take place February 9-10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, with free admission and free parking. Dozens of artists and craftspeople will be showing and selling their wares at the juried show, plus food vendors and performing musicians will be on hand.  The event takes place at the corner of Wells Road and Blanding Blvd. in an open parking area of the Orange Park Mall.

Actress Jane Seymour will be in town this weekend promoting both her artwork and her children’s books. See the former “Dr. Quinn”, along with her paintings, at Avondale Artworks from 1 to 3 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 6.  Then on Sunday at 1 p.m., Seymore will be appearing at The Bookmark in Neptune Beach signing copies of her book Open Hearts Family.  All events are free.
