The biggest free music fete in Northeast Florida goes on this weekend, April 4-6 at the band shell at Jacksonville Beach.  The Parker Urban Band kicks things off at 5 p.m. Friday. Other performers in the three day mix include The Corbitt Brothers, Moreland & Arbuckle and Jarekus Singleton.  Aside from music, there will be food, drinks and craft vendors. Most folks wander in and throw a blanket on the ground to enjoy free sounds, however if you prefer premium seating, a three-day pass to a stage front chair is $50. Go to www.springingtheblues.com for details and the schedule.
