St. Augustine’s free summer music series, Concerts in the Plaza, continues tonight, August 30 featuring folk favorites with Lonesome Bert and The Skinny Lizards. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Plaza de la Constitucion. Bring lawn chairs for seating and a picnic if you like, however alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of The Jacksonville Landing with a free party Thursday, June 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The riverfront open house will offer entertainment, free hors d’oeuvres and discounts from Landing restaurants and retailers.

BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog) to the fourth annual Yappy Hour celebration at The Jacksonville Landing, today May 20. Registration is from 2 to 3 p.m. and the pageant to choose the King and Queen for 2012 begins at 3:15 p.m. After the coronations, you can hang out and listen to The George Aspinall Band, enjoy drink specials (for people), prizes and treats (for dogs) and other goodies. The royal canine-fest is free and goes on until 5 p.m.
