St. Augustine’s free summer music series, Concerts in the Plaza, continues Thursday, August 15, featuring rock ‘n rollers The Grapes of Roth.  The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Plaza de la Constitucion. Bring lawn chairs for seating and a picnic if you like, however alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Stroll through St. Augustine August 2 and enjoy the city’s romantic promenades, as well as great art, live entertainment and refreshments, all free, at the Ancient City’s First Friday Artwalk. The monthly social event is sponsored by Art Galleries of St. Augustine (ARGOSA) and lasts from 5 to 9 p.m.  Free train and trolley rides, looping the event locations, are available beginning at 6 p.m.  Check out the ARGOSA website for details.

RAMRiverside Arts Market is hosting the annual Local Author Expo this Saturday, June 29.  More than 30 authors will be meeting and greeting fans and signing books.  Several will be doing readings throughout the day. The market–with many vendors and a juried art show–is bustling every Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m.  Come out to the plaza under the Fuller Warren Bridge for live entertainment, crafts, artists, gourmet packaged foods and onsite refreshments. Definitely make it a point to stop at the food court. The free fun goes on from until 4 p.m.
