My attempt at art tends to look like stick figures in front of a boxy house. So you can understand my appreciation at finding actual art made by those with talent. The Mandarin Art Festival is an annual event held since 1968, placing local artwork on display for viewing and purchase.
The Mandarin Community Club hosts the Mandarin Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Apr. 15, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Apr. 16. A $1 per person suggested donation is accepted at the entrance, while remote parking and shuttle service is FREE.
Features at this event:
- Artist exhibitors
- Green market featuring hand-crafted goods
- Local food vendors
- Bake sale
- Prize drawings
- Children’s’ art show
- Children’s art workshops
- Easter egg hunt
The Mandarin Community Club is located at 12447 Mandarin Rd.
